There has also been talks about the art competition held by the Balai Seni Lukis Negara called the Bakat Muda Sezaman 2004. The three categories are as follow:-

2D - Painting, printmaking and photography

3D - sculpture and installation

And M2 - multimedia, animation, video art, short films, and interactive art.
